This single-parcel cuvée represents the pinnacle of patient grower craftsmanship. It is sourced entirely from "Derrière le Mont Aigu," a prized 0.59-hectare south-facing plot in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly, where the old vines were planted back in 1955. This 2013 harvest (released as N°13) was fermented 77% in stainless steel and 23% in oak barrels, then left to age in the deep chalk caves for a staggering 9 years on its fine lees. It was bottled with a skeletal, razor-sharp 2 g/L Extra Brut dosage.
