MABE 'LES PETITS PREVOSTS' 2023

This ultra-rare bottle is a dedicated exploration of a single terroir. It is 100% Pinot Meunier sourced entirely from the 2023 vintage in the village of Bonneil (Marne Valley). Winemaker Maxime Beaudet treats the fruit with extreme patience, utilizing spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentations with native yeasts. The wine is aged entirely on its fine lees in oak barrels before being bottled under natural cork unfined, unfiltered, and completely raw as a zero-sugar Brut Nature.

Why we love it: It values honest, earthy terroir expression over loud commercial traits. The oak barrel aging provides a beautifully supple, slightly smooth, and cohesive texture. On the nose, it hits you with a distinctive, yeasty perfume reminiscent of fresh sourdough, green apples, and subtle hints of blooming jasmine.
