FAMILLE DELOUVIN 'Les Chaillets'

This is the crown jewel of Geoffrey's traditional roots. This Blanc de Noirs is a pure masterclass in 100% Pinot Meunier. It is sourced from a tiny, 0.27-hectare single vineyard planted way back in 1974 by Geoffrey’s grandfather, Pierre, using historical massale selection vines. It undergoes ambient yeast fermentation, spends 24 to 36 months aging in old oak barrels, and is bottled with zero dosage and no added sulfur.

Why we love it: Because the old vines have deep root systems and naturally low yields, the wine has an unbelievable mid-palate weight, concentration, and density that you rarely find in Meunier. It smells like an orchard after the rain with wild strawberries and red currants.

The vibe: Family (or friend) Sunday dinner with slow braised pork belly over a buttery polenta.
