FAMILLE DELOUVIN 'Bis Repetita' 2015 MAGNUM

The 'Bis Repetita' 2015 MAGNUM represents the ultimate intersection of a generous vintage, micro-terroir, and massive aging potential. Handcrafted by Geoffrey Delouvin in the village of Vandières, this vintage blend combines old-vine Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Unlike the leaner 2013 vintage, 2015 yielded rich, fully ripe fruit across the Marne Valley. Geoffrey harnessed this intensity by fermenting the base wine with indigenous yeasts and subjecting it to a staggering 9 years of aging on its lees sur lattes. Bottles were shaken regularly by hand before receiving a late disgorgement in September 2023 with a very low 3g/l Extra Brut dosage.

Why we love it: Bottled exclusively in a 1.5L Magnum format, the larger volume allows for a slower, more graceful integration of oxygen, making it an uncompromised masterclass in patience. We get layers of orchard fruit, wildflowers and toasted almond.
