FAMILLE DELOUVIN 'Arpent Rouge'

This wine breaks all the local rules. It comes from the village of Vandières, a pocket of the Vallée de la Marne that is fiercely dedicated to growing Pinot Meunier. However, the eleventh-generation winemaker Geoffrey Delouvin identified a tiny, mid-slope parcel with unique iron-rich red clay and sand. Instead of Meunier, he uses it to cultivate ultra-concentrated Chardonnay. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in small oak barrels with zero added sugar, this Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs captures a rare, raw translation of a singular micro-terroir.
