Fourth-generation winemaker Adrien Rousseaux leads this tiny, cult-status 2.6-hectare estate based in the famous Grand Cru village of Verzenay. Since taking the reins in 2012, Adrien has completely eliminated chemical herbicides and insecticides, practicing a non-prescriptive, hyper-focused style of winemaking where each tiny parcel is vinified completely on its own. His signature Blanc de Noirs is a 100% Grand Cru Pinot Noir sourced from 50-year-old vines spread across the elite terroirs of Louvois, Verzy, and Verzenay. The wine blends two consecutive vintages evenly, undergoes primary fermentation in stainless steel alongside a small percentage of oak barrel aging, and rests for 3 years before a precise, minimal Extra Brut dosage of 3 g/L.
