DOMAINE MEA 'Rosa Delice'

Crafted by fifth-generation winemaker Sophie and her husband Franck, this cuvée showcases the incredible geographic diversity of the family's vineyards. The backbone of the wine relies on crisp Chardonnay and Pinot Noir pulled from cool, north-facing Premier Cru plots in Ludes and Montbré. To bring in that gorgeous pink hue and complex structure, they blend in 10% Bouzy Rouge, a highly acclaimed, still red Pinot Noir harvested from 65-year-old vines in the heart of the Grand Cru village of Bouzy. The wine undergoes 10 months of aging on fine lees in vats before spending at least two to three years resting in their underground chalk caves. It is bottled as a crisp Extra Brut with a very low 3 g/L dosage.
