This family has been carefully tending vines in the Grand Cru village of Louvois since 1922, working behind the scenes, growing stellar fruit that was quietly sold off to some of the legendary Champagne houses. Fifth generation winemaker Sophie and her husband Franck, are tending the vines completely avoiding chemical fertilizers and pesticides. L'Assemblage is their signature introduction to the world, a precise blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay drawn from 27 distinct Premier and Grand Cru plots. It is aged for nearly three years in their chalk cellars and bottled as an Extra Brut with a very low dosage, letting the pure, unfiltered voice of their vineyards truly shine.
